So, I really want to get GTA4, but the parents don't want me to. When school was still in they said no because I had finals. They also said that they are afraid that I will play while my little brother is around. He is four and he already knows the names of all the weapons in Halo 3. Does anyone have a good argument I can use so that I can get this amazing game?

Say that it is rated the same as Halo, and that everything they read on the web was by biased 60 year old's who think video games are the devil.

Yeah, definately that is a viable concern. Very young children are easily influenced. Where is your TV? If it's in your room, just shut the door and don't allow him in while you're playing.

Yeah, I suppose. You could just keep your brother out of the room, or he wouldn't be allowed in or something.

Our entire basement is one big room. This is where the TV is. It is also where most of my family spends their time. I'm going to bring it up again tonight and promise not to play until after his bedtime. I'll let you know how it goes.

thats what i do. my little brother is 11 and plays halo and COD with me all the time, but i think GTA is just too much for him, so i don't let him play/watch me play. I'll play it at night when he's asleep or if he's out a friend's house. (he goes to bed at 9, i go to bed....usually before 3am, so that gives me some decent time to play)

I can't go to real ones untill next year. It's so wierd how 21 and 18 are so different. It's like that the 4 years in between those are still so limited, but your not a minor after 18.
