How to get Gears of War 2 - Underage

I want to get GOW2, it looks sick and all, but I'm afraid my parents won't let me get it. Any advice or plans to get it or to persuade them?

Do you have any older brothers or any thing that could buy it for you? If not, just explain to them that there is no sex or anything, just violence. That would persuade my parents.

Have a friend buy it?

Just tell your parents that you're mature enough to handle the content in the game, and that if you DO try to go around chain sawing some one, then they can take the game away.

For GTA I just went with my dad and bought with my money. Then got the full blast from my mom.

Offer to go out and and help them do chores, then explain how it really isn't a bad game, maybe show them some stuff about Grand Theft Auto IV.

How you'd be able to convice them that GTA isn't a bad game, I have no idea. I did use that method to earn trust to get some M games, in fact, I convinced my mom that Oblivion wasn't actually rated M. It wsn't at the time, they had changed it due to some content, but nevertheless, every M game I have, I've had to earn the trust to get it.

Now, my Mom just assumes that I'm not going to playing things that are too mature, which is partly true because I'm not a huge fan of ll the blood and guts anyway.

I have actually never played GOW besides the level with the Hammer of Dawn. Then my friend took the controller away because I kept dying.

That's why I have two. An Xbox 360 Elite in the living room, and a normal one in my room. What sucks is that my tv in my room sucks, and no online play [for the moment].
