Halo 3 is being ruined by team killing F#@ktards

Seriously, they are coming out of the woodwork and it is beyond the point of just being annoying. What makes it worse is Bungie's turning a blind eye to it. They nerfed the boot system making most betrayals the other teams kills, most likely to cover-up one of Halo 2's worst flaws. But seriously, some d-bag betrayed me 3 times in a game tonight and I was not once given the opportunity to boot him. The next game the first 4 seconds of the game... oh look, my teammate tried to sticky grenade me. Yay.

Seeing as how I was in these games with him... I can vouch... I just don't get the freaking point in it! If you want to kill everyone go play lone wolves or rumble pit...get out of the team stuff!Those team killers make me angry! Evil or Very Mad

I haven't come across any team killers yet, but I usually go in with a full team.

It depends I mean sometimes it can be funny then other times its annoying. I usually just punch them and then let them kill me. Then I boot I've never had issues with booting system before.

Like Deviant said, I was betrayed 3 times in a game yesterday and it never let me boot him. I played a game two weeks ago where i was betrayed by all three of my teammates a total of 7 times. Two of them did it 3 times each and I couldn't kick 'em. The other one once and it let me boot him. They had killed me in the first two seconds and I can't boot them, while the next game I got betrayed right at the start and got to kick the dude out. The system is stupid and inconsistent. Not qualities that are supposed to be in the best FPS on the market.

i often have problems with the booting system. but apart from that, not only do team-killers annoy the hell out of me, but its even worse when they betray me shortly after a battle i had with an opponent, so not only do they kill me, but it counts for a kill for the other team AND my teammate doesn't get a betrayal. triple fail. (and i'm not talking about two teammates taking on one opponent, and accidentally getting killed because of close proximity, that is different and sometime expected in those situations)

happens to me too. i hate when you double team someone, then both of you kill the dude. Your teammate turns to you and kills you then teabags you. *hatred* point counts for th other team.

What you just wrote is exactly what my point was. Bungie turned betrayals into a kill for the other team thus giving them the kill (and the point) and there's no betrayal in the post game stats. They knew there was going to be a tremendous influx of new Halo players with 3 and they sure as hell didn't want all these new players getting team-killed and turned off from the game by all the sh!t that went on in H2, so what could they do? Cover it up, sweep it under the rug and pretend it's not there. Unfortunatly things always find a way of working their way back to the surface. The problem most likely has really gotten out of hand because of all the second and third accounters who don't really give a sh!t about their stats since it's not their main account. It's just time to grief people. They are the lowest common denomenator and they are not going anywhere. So Bungie, it's time to wake up and admit you f'd up and give the gamers a means to police the gamers again.
